Emergency Room Volunteer Training
You are the soul of the medical center
Volunteers in our Emergency Department provide non-clinical assistance to patients and their families in the waiting room and in treatment areas. Duties include comforting families, providing patient advocacy, making up gurneys, restocking supply carts, etc.
We are seeking mature, compassionate volunteers willing to make a commitment of a minimum of 100 hours in our non-trauma Emergency Department. No summer students please. Attendance at our 2 hour volunteer orientation and 3 hour Emergency Department training session are required.
A free training class is offered, and we require a 100-hour volunteer commitment. If you are interested in Emergency Room Volunteer Training, please call Grace D'Anca at the CPMC Volunteer Office 415-641-6490 , or email email@example.com.
