    WHRC Skin Care Services

    The WHRC now offers individualized facial appointments with Patrisha Lowder, CMT and Licensed Esthetician. Patrisha is specially trained in esthetics for oncology patients, sensitive skin and other health challenged skin. She can help you address these issues as well as get you on a healthy, appropriate home care regimen. Patrisha can treat those who suffer from the following:

    • Eczema
    • Rosacea
    • Acne or Dry Skin
    • Fine lines or wrinkles
    • Hyperpigmentation
    • Hormone induced issues
    Patrisha’s primary focus is to preserve, protect and nourish the skin and help her clients balance oil and moisture content to achieve a healthy, youthful complexion. You can expect an appropriate deep cleansing, exfoliation with steam, extractions, and/or dermafile if necessary, serums and moisturizing mask. Each treatment is customized to meet your specific needs and includes a relaxing shoulder, neck, and décolleté massage.

    Patrisha Lowder, Licensed Esthetician and CMT

    Patrisha Lowder began her massage therapy practice in 1997 and joined the WHRC in 2007. Patrisha completed training in skin care and esthetics in 2012 along with advanced training in Oncology and Medical Esthetics to expand her practice with people with sensitive skin issues. She feels that her work in skin care is the perfect complement to the healing touch of body work. In her massage therapy practice she integrates deep tissue massage with orthopedic, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and strain-counter-strain techniques. Patrisha has also completed certifications in and has had many years of massage experience with cancer patients and women who are pregnant or recently post-partum. Most recently, she completed her Esthetician license from Skyline Community College in May 2012.
