Patient Advocacy, Health Resources and Internet Access
Patient Advocacy Program
For compassionate and understanding solutions, meet with our patient advocate to help you:
- Research health conditions, treatment options, clinical trials, support groups and therapists.
- Evaluate which health insurance and prescription drug plans (including Medicare and Covered California) are appropriate for your situation.
- Prepare for an upcoming surgery, including creating a list of questions to ask the surgeon, locating a provider for a second opinion, contacting your insurance company about coverage.
- Assist with planning around healthy aging and living independently, including contacting human service and housing agencies. Interface with IHHS or find a provider
Patient Advocate, Robbie Trent, has more than 15 years of experience helping women get answers and resources for their health care situations.
Free access to the Internet is available and open to the public by appointment only.
