Directions to our facility.
The Breast Cancer Recovery Program assists women undergoing treatment for breast cancer. This includes surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and/or hormonal therapy. Our program is designed to aid women in their physical, emotional and spiritual recovery through an individualized, multi-disciplinary program.
Our multidisciplinary team is comprised of a nurse practitioner, social worker, chaplain, guided imagery specialist and nutritionist. The program coordinator helps prepare the patient for treatment and manage side effects by providing education, resources and referrals to other members of our clinical team. Any woman may join this program at any time during her breast cancer treatment and recovery.

Concierge Service for Women with Advanced/Metastatic Breast Cancer
Services are provided by the Breast Cancer Recovery Program staff including an oncology nurse and Licensed Clinical Psychologist, herself a breast cancer survivor and advocate. Back to top
Peer Support
Often talking one-on-one with another woman who is living with breast cancer can be particularly helpful. We offer two programs that provide the opportunity to meet with breast cancer survivors who provide support and valuable information.

One of our trained and caring volunteers visits patients during their hospital stay. The volunteer, a breast cancer survivor, brings a Resource Kit , that enhances patient recovery.

Our Telephone Matching Program pairs newly diagnosed patients with a telephone buddy who shares similar treatment, language, culture and lifestyle. The peer support coordinator acts as a liaison to connecting new patients with a volunteer, who is a breast cancer survivor. The program coordinator can be contacted at (415) 600-2717.
