Radiation Oncology at California Pacific offers a wide range of conventional and innovative cancer treatments provided in a patient-centered, caring environment. Radiation oncology is often the first line of attack to eradicate tumor cells. At CPMC we offer the state-of-the-art treatment modalities to treat a wide variety of malignancies including Trilogy® radiotherapy with SABERKnife technology to non-invasively treating brain tumors or other critical anatomy and intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT) for treating breast cancer.

At California Pacific, we use an exacting protocol for quality confirmation with each treatment; wherein every treatment plan is meticulously reviewed before treatment starts. Daily quality assurance checks are performed on each treatment machine, and dose delivery is monitored as the treatment occurs. Each patient’s treatment is planned, monitored and delivered by an experienced board-certified radiation oncologist, medical physicist, medical dosimetrist, and radiation therapist, thereby assuring safe, accurate treatment. Our staff members fulfill rigorous on-going safety training and compliance education related to the administration of radiation therapy.
