California Pacific Medical Center’s Prenatal Diagnosis Center, directed by Dr. Denise Main since 1990, is a comprehensive program providing the most advanced technology and procedures available for identifying certain genetic disorders and birth defects in the developing fetus. Our program is fully accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and the California Genetics Disease Branch. Your care will be facilitated by a genetic counselor dedicated to your individual situation.
We understand the many options regarding testing for Down syndrome and other birth defects that are now available to pregnant women of all ages. We would like to help you select what, if any, testing makes most sense to you and your partner.
