Sports Conditioning Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Enhancement (SCORE)

The most important piece of equipment you take onto the golf course is not your clubs...it's your body. Poor balance, flexibility limitations, and weak muscles can rob a golfer of distance and accuracy, and often lead to injuries.

The SCORE Golf Program at California Pacific's Regional Rehabilitation Center offers performance enhancement, including sport-specific conditioning for the player looking to take their game to the next level. We also offer orthopedic rehabilitation for golfers who are injured and want to get back out on the course.

Are you the player you want to be?

  • Do you want more consistency?
  • Do you want to improve your handicap?
  • Would you like to hit the ball further?

SCORE can take your game to the next level

The SCORE Program initial visit consists of a physical therapy evaluation, video analysis of your swing, and an assessment of your balance using the Dynamic Balance System (DBS). This comprehensive evaluation will reveal potential biomechanical swing faults and musculoskeletal limitations or weakness. This information will be used to develop your personalized SCORE training program.

The SCORE enhancement-training program is a series of individualized training sessions utilizing hands-on physical therapy techniques, golf-specific exercises, and specialized training equipment. Improving golf-specific strength, flexibility, balance, and power will increase your distance and improve your accuracy.

Do you want to get back in the game?

  • Need help overcoming an injury that prevents you from playing?
  • Do you want to play golf for a lifetime?

If pain or injury is keeping you off the course, SCORE is available. With a doctor's referral a physical therapy evaluation will be scheduled to help determine the cause of your pain or injury. A sport-specific therapist will work with you to overcome these problems prior to your participation in the SCORE enhancement-training program.
