Fit for Life is for you if …

    • You want to enjoy life more.

    Benefits of Exercise

Regular exercise is beneficial at any age, but as we grow older exercise helps minimize the aging process. One-third of how we age depends on genetics, while two-thirds depends on our lifestyle choices, including a regular exercise routine.

Exercise can improve memory, mental alertness, reaction time, and cognition by increasing blood circulation to the brain.

Exercise increases functional capacity and activity tolerance by increasing muscle strength, flexibility, and aerobic endurance.

"Core strengthening" of your abdominal and back muscles, may help reduce back and neck pain and improve balance to decrease the risk for falling.

Weight-bearing exercises help to maintain strong bones to prevent osteoporosis.
