Benefits of Exercise
Regular exercise is beneficial at any age, but as we grow older exercise helps minimize the aging process. One-third of how we age depends on genetics, while two-thirds depends on our lifestyle choices, including a regular exercise routine.
Exercise can improve memory, mental alertness, reaction time, and cognition by increasing blood circulation to the brain.
Exercise increases functional capacity and activity tolerance by increasing muscle strength, flexibility, and aerobic endurance.
