5 Rhythms Workshop
The 5 Rhythms, created by Gabrielle Roth, is a moving medication practice, a tool for transformation and a joyful form of self-expression. It is a map of the discovery with no right or wrong way to move - only the way that is true for each of us in every moment. In this practice, we dance a wave, consisting of the energies of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness.
In this workshop we'll bring awareness to the body, tap into its wisdom and experience the nourishment of movement. We'll explore the medicine of each rhythm and how we can use it as a resource for ourselves and our clients.
Instructor: Sylvie Minot believes that the body not only holds stories and old wounds but medicine and has the antidote to heal itself. Through moving, we release our stories and allow for healing to come through. Sylvie has used movement as a tool for transformation for 15 years. She is a certified 5 Rhythms teacher, trained by Gabrielle Roth. She also has also studied indigenous healing rituals with Angeles Arrien.
