Integrative Medicine Education
The Integrative Medicine Education Program combines supervised clinical training and education. It is designed for care providers and administrators who wish to incorporate a whole-person philosophy and approach into their clinical or administrative practices. It requires a 500-hour commitment over one year.
The program starts with training in your specialization so that you are able to work with patients in the hospital setting. Building on your expertise as a practitioner, we teach three domains of focus so that your unique healing abilities are fully embodied in patient care. Developing these skills and insights enables you to actively participate in a multidisciplinary team of health professionals.
The program offers specializations in the following disciplines:
Education includes seminars, lectures, case presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and two retreats to provide a rich environment for you to learn and grow.
Internship sites are located at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco and/or Marin General Hospital and Novato Community Hospital in Marin County.
