Terry Tellep

Holistic Nursing

Terry Tellep, RN, MS, CNS has been a registered nurse for over twenty-five years. In addition to helping coordinate care for patients in the Health & Healing Clinic, she also consults with patients and families in the hospital, and trains nurses in integrative medicine assessment and care. Terry's teaching style is patient and direct. She creates a safe environment that allows student’s innate wisdom to emerge. Terry has worked with people across the entire lifespan, from infants to the elderly, in a variety of settings ranging from acute hospital care to public health and community settings.

Terry holds a Masters of Science in Nursing from San Jose State University and has served there as a preceptor for the Clinical Nurse Specialist program. She is also a graduate of the Integrative Medicine Education Program with a specialization in Massage Therapy. As a nurse who is also a massage therapist with additional training in acupressure, she brings the practices of mindfulness, presence and the healing power of touch into nursing care.
