Portia Diwa

Healing Harp

Portia Diwa has been playing the harp since 1992 and has provided healing harp music for many years at hospitals, nursing homes, and labyrinth walks. Her knowledge of traditional music from around the world, relaxed harp technique, and improvisation provides the foundation for her healing harp work. She has helped form several different harp ensembles including: Bay Area Youth Harp Ensemble, Triskela Celtic Harp Trio, and Mission Harp Ensemble. Portia has also played integral roles in the Multi-Cultural Music Fellowship.

Portia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Santa Clara University and is a certified harp therapist from Bedside Harp.
