Jeff Draisin

Medical Lead

Jeff Draisin, MD is the Medical Lead for the Integrative Medicine Education Program, and is responsible for the development and operations of the program's clinical services. Jeff is also a physician at the Institute for Health & Healing Clinic. A board-certified family physician, he has been practicing integrative medicine for more than 20 years.

Jeff received his medical degree from New York University Medical School and completed his residency training at University of California, San Francisco. Jeff taught acupuncture to physicians and was an Associate Clinical Professor at the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UCSF. He also worked as the Medical Director at Inscription House Health Center, a program of Indian Health Service in Arizona.

At the Clinic, Jeff brings together his expertise in family medicine, behavioral sciences, and traditional Chinese Medicine practices, including Acupuncture and Chinese herbs, to find an approach tailored to each patient. He has a kind, gentle approach that fosters healing change. His practice includes preventive medicine and health enhancement, behavior medicine emphasizing lifestyle change, chronic disease, pain syndromes, and mindfulness-based body therapies.
