A Training Program for Health Professionals
The Institute for Health & Healing is the largest provider of hospital-based integrative medicine in the United States. Today, the Institute's programs serve more than 60,000 patients a year at four hospitals in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our yearlong training programs combine education and supervised training, to guide you to a deeper understanding of your healing abilities while giving you valuable firsthand experience.
The two programs we offer are:
Clinical training takes place in the hospital where you’ll work with patients who have a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Our programs are designed for those who wish to incorporate a whole-person philosophy and approach into their spiritual, clinical or administrative practices. For many of our interns, participating in the health professional education program is one of the most rewarding experiences of their lives.
