Integrative Psychotherapy  |  Guided Imagery

Integrative Psychotherapy

Integrative psychotherapy offers a safe environment for the exploration of body, mind, emotions and spirit, and their impact on health, personal fulfillment and relationships. In a session with our licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you may explore and transform limiting patterns, traumas and beliefs that block or inhibit your life. Approaches are uniquely tailored to the individual, and may include insight-oriented inquiry, lifestyle changes, EMDR (a technique used to address post-traumatic stress disorder), and guided imagery.

Guided Imagery

Guided Imagery is related to meditation, hypnosis and visualization. The practitioner guides the patient to access their own intuition, which stimulates images and sensations. Patients often report tranquil and calming feelings and gain valuable insights. Research supports the benefits of guided imagery in a number of applications, including relaxation, minimizing side effects of medications or medical procedures, preparing for and healing from surgery, dealing with chronic illness, overcoming insomnia and enhancing coping skills.
