Donna Scott has a long-standing interest in integrative medicine. She is an experienced practitioner of healing arts including being a Reiki Master. She has also studied Healing Touch and Jin Shin Jyutsu.

Donna has a strong affinity with animals and has volunteered as emergency staff for injured animals at Wildcare as well as practicing human communication with animals. For many years Donna volunteered with the Raccoons organization at Marin General Hospital and as a counselor on a child abuse hotline.

Currently, she is involved with Search for Common Ground, an international organization devoted to finding peaceful solutions to world problems. Donna is on the Nominating Committee of the IHH Community Council.

Donna moved to the Bay Area from Chicago over thirty years ago. In 1977 she married her husband Hugh and they have one grown son, Hugh Scott, Jr.
