Celebrating Science & Soul generates donations to support the Institute for Health & Healing's work of healing people and transforming the practice of medicine. Last year the Institute touched the lives of more than 50,000 people, many through our scholarship fund and free programs at the bedside and in the Bay Area community. Pioneers in Integrative Medicine
As a leader in integrative medicine, the Institute for Health & Healing has long sought to honor international experts whose work is furthering the field. Every year we select and honor a "Pioneer in Integrative Medicine". Renowned author and lecturer Michael Pollan is the recipient of the 2011 Pioneers Award.
