Pat Shea, CMT

Integrative Massage Therapist

Pat Shea, CMT is a certified massage therapist with over twenty years of experience and training. She has been a massage therapist at the Institute for Health & Healing in Marin for over ten years. Pat started as a massage volunteer working with hospitalized patients. She currently works with people who have life-threatening illnesses, the elderly, athletes, pregnant women, and anyone who wants to reduce stress.

Pat has focused much of her training on psychoneuroimmunology - the study of how our mental, emotional, and spiritual state affects our nervous and immune systems. By helping people calm their nervous system and enhance immune functioning, she believes this can have a profound effect on their overall health.

Pat’s bodywork style encompasses light to deep Swedish Massage, Shiatsu, Lymphatic Massage, and Reiki energy work. She is also trained extensively in Oncology, Pregnancy, and Pediatric Massage. Her non-judgmental style and ability to tune into the needs and sensitivities of each person she works with helps them feel whole and revitalized.
