Guiding You to Health and Vitality
Molly Roberts, MD, MS is board-certified in family medicine with expertise in holistic and nutritional medicine. In addition, she is the President of the American Holistic Medical Association. Molly’s warm and insightful care helps treat people with a wide variety of health conditions. Her passion is guiding people through health challenges and life transitions, and helping individuals and families improve their overall health and well-being.
Molly offers holistic consultations and in-depth assessments at our Marin clinic. She often incorporates functional medicine, which is a science-based approach that seeks to treat the underlying causes – not just the symptoms – of chronic illness. Utilizing state-of-the-art testing to assess physiological imbalances, Molly is able to provide targeted nutritional therapies, mind-body approaches, and fitness recommendations. She also recognizes the importance of psychological and spiritual balance, and seamlessly blends a variety of approaches into her care plans. In addition, she coordinates patient care among our team of integrative practitioners.
Molly recognizes each person brings their unique alchemy to the healing process. She cares for the whole person, working in partnership with patients to first identify areas of strength that will help them feel healthy, happy, and in right relationship with life. Next, she helps correct the imbalances that impede the body’s ability to heal.
She treats a wide range of conditions including:
- women’s and men’s health such as hormonal issues, thyroid imbalances, menopause, PMS, andropause (male menopause), and sexual dysfunction
- digestive disorders such as gluten intolerance, food allergies, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome, and inflammatory bowel diseases (ulcerative colitis and crohn’s disease)
- cardiovascular issues such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and coronary artery disease
- general fatigue and adrenal fatigue
- psycho-spiritual issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, relationship challenges, and sexual health
Molly began her career providing psychological evaluation and counseling for people recovering from surgery and job-related injuries. She also provided emergency psychiatric crisis counseling. Then she received her medical degree, and completed her Family Practice residency and internship at the University of Arizona. As a physician in Tucson, AZ, Molly co-founded her own healing center and worked as a holistic physician at Canyon Ranch, a world class health resort.
Molly is a well-respected public speaker, workshop facilitator and radio host. She is the author of Blackwell Complementary and Alternative Medicine: Fast Facts for Medical Practice and The ION Handbook on nutritional testing.
