Juanita de Sanz

Juanita de Sanz, MFT, MA has a master's degree in Counseling and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor. Juanita provides integrative psychotherapy using a mind/body approach tailored to each individual. She helps clients move through life's challenges toward a well-balanced life. She offers integrative psychotherapy and guided imagery at our San Francisco clinic.

Juanita specializes in working with people with illnesses ranging from cancer to stress disorders, and with the emotions that accompany any illness. She also works with couples and familes on communication skill development, stress management, and chronic illness using a blend of approaches including guided imagery and expressive art.

Juanita is also a faculty member of the Institute's Integrative Medicine Education program where she trains and supervises guided imagery and expressive art counseling interns.
