Helen Ye, MS, LAc is a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine practitioner who uses acupuncture, herbal medicine, and other traditional methods, including diet and self-care recommendations, in her practice.

Helen sees patients with a wide variety of health issues including cancer, hepatitis, immune dysfunction, digestive disorders, addictive habits, and pain as well as women's health issues. She has worked with people who are terminally ill and their caregivers, and also treats people who have multiple diagnoses. Her gentle, attentive, and calming manner creates an environment conducive for healing.

Helen earned a Masters of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley in City Planning and Public Health. Her professional memberships include the California State Oriental Medicine Association, American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, American Botanical Council, National Acupuncture Detoxification Association, and Acupuncturists Without Borders.

Her achievements include leading the Institute's efforts to improve diversity and cultural competency, and developing the group acupuncture program. Group acupuncture offers a more affordable way for people to receive acupuncture treatment and it creates a community atmosphere that can be beneficial to the healing process.
