Carolyn Tague
Restoring Health with Healing Touch
Carolyn Tague, MA, CACMT is a California certified massage therapist who offers restorative massage for people living with stress, illness, or chronic conditions. With skilled hands, an open heart, and full attention on the needs of each person she works with, Carolyn customizes each massage for the reduction of stress and the promotion of healing. To reduce tension and restore a sense of balance and well being, she draws on Swedish and Esalen massage techniques as well as energy balancing and Reiki. In her massages, healing touch combines with a compassionate presence.
Carolyn received her bodywork training from the Institute for Conscious Bodywork-Alive & Well, and her Masters in East-West Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She is certified in Degriefing Bodywork (which helps restore a sense of balance and harmony in the midst of grief and loss), Massage for People Living with Cancer, and Massage for Children with Special Needs. She also completed a yearlong internship at the Institute for Health & Healing providing healing touch to patients in the hospital.
Currently, Carolyn is the clinical supervisor of the in-hospital massage service and clinical faculty for the Integrative Medicine Education Program.
Carolyn provides therapeutic massage in our San Francisco clinic.
