Al Wuthnow

Compassionate Touch

Al Wuthnow, CMT is a certified massage therapist who brings an open heart, compassionate touch, and 35 years of education and experience to each bodywork session. Blending several modalities, Al provides healing sessions that reflect the needs of each patient. Al began working at the Institute for Health & Healing in 1998 as a massage volunteer in the hospital. Over the years, his work with breast cancer patients has been a source of personal satisfaction to him.

Al typically blends Esalen Massage, Swedish, Lymph Drainage Therapy, Oncology Massage, and CranioSacral Therapy, to provide deeply nurturing bodywork sessions. He believes bodywork is an integral aspect of healing and an essential part of a wellness program. His sessions have been described as "seamless, rejuvenating, and restorative."
