Integrative Restoration (iRest)
Integrative Restoration (iRest) is a deeply relaxing meditation practice that offers you “tools for life” that enable you to rise above stress, anxiety, fear, and pain. Through a series of 30-40 minute guided meditations, body sensing, and breath awareness techniques, you’ll learn how to release negative emotions and thought patterns, calm your nervous system, and develop a greater sense of well-being.
Based on the ancient meditation practice of Yoga Nidra or “conscious sleep”, iRest uses deep relaxation, breathing and meditation to systematically reduce physical, emotional, and mental pain. iRest invites you to discover a sense of peace that is always present, regardless of your life circumstances.
Research has shown that iRest effectively reduces PTSD, depression, anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, and chemical dependency, as well as increases overall well-being. The US Army Surgeon General and Defense Centers of Excellence now recommend iRest as a complementary alternative medical (CAM) program for managing chronic pain and PTSD.
