    Working With You

    Our goal at the Vascular Institute is to provide high quality care and attention to referring physicians and patients. Throughout the entire process the Vascular Team strives for good communication and follow through. Once a patient is referred to the Vascular Institute, a multi-disciplinarian approach is taken to decide the best care for the patient. Referring physicians are included in the gathering of data and the decision process, as well as the post procedure follow-up.

    The patient follow-up after a vascular procedure varies upon the type of procedure done and whether it was endovascular or surgical. Follow-ups begin two weeks post procedure, one month, three months, six months, one year and then yearly. Referring physicians receive reports regarding follow-up findings.

    The Vascular Institute also offers first-class assistance to patients and families from out of town. Cathedral Hill Hotel, a three-star hotel, sets rooms aside for patients and families, offering discounted rates (starting at $79/night for single occupancy), complimentary buffet breakfast, personal concierge service and complimentary shuttle service between the hotel and California Pacific Medical Center.

    The caring, compassionate and highly qualified Vascular Institute Team, including those working in interventional radiology, the OR and the Cardiac Catheterization laboratory, have extensive expertise in their fields.
