Residency Curriculum
The CPMC Department of Ophthalmology sponsors a full academic year of continuing and resident education. Weekly Grand Rounds are held from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM every Monday. During the academic year, residents participate in Friday morning lectures, a Wednesday evening discussion of topics in retina or ethics, microsurgery lab sessions, oculoplastic surgery lectures and journal club discussions in neuro-ophthalmology, glaucoma, cornea, retina and oculoplastics.

Cornea and Oculoplastic Surgery - 2 months
Glaucoma, Retina and Uveitis - 2 months
Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus - 2 months
Stanford Ophthalmology Basic Science Course - 2 months
Highland Hospital, Junior Resident - 6 months
Highland Hospital, Senior Resident - 6 months
Kaiser Hospital - 6 months
Chief Resident at California Pacific - 6 months
