Services Offered in the Bryan Hemming Cancer Care Center
Cancer Care Navigation Services - A patient navigator is available to assist oncology patients and their loved ones, offering highly personalized supportive guidance when they need it the most.
Cancer Genetic Risk Assessment Program - This program is available to help identify persons and families who are at higher risk for developing cancers due to an inherited predisposition.
Deikel Family Conference Room - Support groups provide encouragement and education for cancer survivors, patients and families dealing with a cancer diagnosis and are an important part of healing. The Deikel Family Conference Room, located within the Bryan Hemming Cancer Care Center, offers inviting meeting space for our cancer support groups. The space is also available for individual or family counseling sessions, guided imagery, and spiritual guidance. With customized decorative furniture, it holds up to 15 persons comfortably and offers a view of the Fredric S. Freund Family Healing Garden.
Outpatient Infusion Therapy Center - Many patients receiving chemotherapeutic regimens require multiple treatment sessions which may last weeks or months, and hours at a time. Housing infusion therapy in the Bryan Hemming Cancer Care Center provides patients and families convenient access to education and support in a welcoming environment. The five infusion rooms are private and equipped with the latest medical technology. Spacious infusion rooms feature hardwood floors, views of the Fredric S. Freund Family Healing Garden, and relaxing wall colors and window treatments. The plush infusion recliner chairs have a personal TV/DVD player for private viewing and patients will be provided with snacks and beverages throughout their visit.
