Your family and friends are an important part of your health care team. During your surgery, they may wait for you in the surgical waiting area where they will find coffee, tea, magazines, television and internet data ports for their convenience. They will be updated on your progress as information is available.
This directory of local services and amenities is designed to be of help to them while you are with us.
California Campus
PATIENT DROP-OFF/PICK-UP
3700 California Street
Patients may be dropped off and picked up at the rear lobby level entrance off Cherry Street. Look for the driveway marked "Emergency Maternity Entrance". Wheelchairs are available upon request. Please contact the staff at the Information Desk in the lobby for assistance.
3698 California Street
Patients may be dropped off and picked up at the side entrance off Maple Street. Look for the driveway near the corner of California and Maple Streets.
PARKING
Street parking is available but limited. Non-neighborhood residents are restricted to two-hour parking on the street. Public parking is available for a fee at nearby garages:

Davies Campus
PATIENT DROP-OFF/PICK-UP
Patients can be dropped off and picked up at the main entrance to the hospital. If assistance is required, please notify the staff at the Information Desk in the lobby.
PARKING
Street parking is available but limited. Non-neighborhood residents are restricted to two-hour parking on the street. Public parking is available for a fee at the on-campus parking garage (45 Castro Street).
WAITING AREA
Family and friends may wait in the Ambulatory Care Unit waiting room located at the "A" level of the hospital. Staff will notify them when information is available, and there is a direct phone line to the front desk for updates.
