Our secure, professionally landscaped garden and fountain area gives our residents and visitors plenty of room to walk freely and safely or sit on a bench and enjoy the natural beauty of the outdoors.

Semi-private and private resident rooms are spacious and comfortable. Families are encouraged to bring family photos and other familiar objects from home to add a personal touch to the room. Careful attention to details adds to the calming ambiance.

Residents gather in our bright, spacious activity-day room for therapeutic interactive programs. With its sofas and cozy armchairs, the activity room is the social center of Swindells, where frequent live music performances and monthly parties are held and where residents participate in many of our activities therapies.

The inviting atmosphere is extended to the dining room as well. Residents enjoy meals prepared by California Pacific Medical Center's Food Services staff in a café-like atmosphere. A registered dietician is available to consult with family members for input in preparing balanced and nutritious meals, especially for residents with special dietary needs such as a low sodium or diabetic diet. The on-site kitchen is used for food preparation for parties and special events. Careful attention is paid to the safety of our residents in the dining room and kitchen.

Swindells' garden is a beautiful place where residents can enjoy sunlight and fresh air.


Attention to soft colors and lighting promote a calming atmosphere. Pictures, pillows and other familiar items are a comforting presence.
