Wine is Life, Drink it Up!
Vintner Susan Collier’s legacy lives on in a very special vintage called Syrah du Soleil Sue's Block which is currently being sold by the case exclusively for the CPMC’s Forbes Norris ALS Research and Treatment Center in honor of Susan who passed away from ALS in 2007. Only 75 cases have been made from this first harvest which was aged in oak for the past twenty months. The Santa Rosa Press Democrat gives Syrah du Soleil Sue's Block their highest rating of 4 stars and says, “Highly recommended! A big, burly Syrah with good complexity. Juicy, with notes of blackberry, dried cherry, roasted rosemary and spice. Nice length."
