Transplant

California Pacific Medical Center's Department of Organ Transplantation is one of the leading programs nationwide. We performed our first kidney transplant in 1969, and in the three decades following, more than 4,000 transplants have been performed here.

Our transplantation services for adult kidney, kidney-pancreas, heart and liver offer an ideal model of specialty care that blends superior results and individual attention to patients with an unsurpassed commitment to community outreach throughout Northern California, Nevada, Hawaii and the Pacific Rim.

Our transplant outcomes, including patient and graft survival rates, typically exceed expectations according to national data. Current statistics for our program and for other programs nationwide can be found at the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients. This Web site maintains data on all transplant programs nationwide.
