As a solo pediatrician in private practice, I consider it imperative to involve the whole family in caring for a child. In my office I adhere to evidence based medicine and follow the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Institute of Health. In addition, as a teacher I discuss the philosophy and practicality of parenting, how to be a role model and how to enjoy your children as they evolve.
I am also a ped endocrinologist, a member of the Lawson Wilkins Pediatric Endocrine Society and a clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco
