The Da Costa International Funds for Breast Cancer Prevention originated in January of 2003 with a major gift of support by the Daniel and Phyllis Da Costa Trust to the California Pacific Medical Center Foundation in San Francisco and the Royal Marsden Hospital Charity. Learn more about the Royal Marsden Hospital charitable activities and their Institute for Cancer Research.

The Da Costa Funds missions are to support research that improves the targeting of breast cancer chemoprevention and to develop cooperative ventures between the United States and United Kingdom, leveraging funds in both countries for the common purpose of breast cancer chemoprevention.
