    Mind-Body Medicine Research
    The MOMS Study

    RECRUITING
    Anyone interested in helping us recruit volunteers, or if you know of someone who might be interested with the MAMAS Study.

    Women who participate will be asked to attend an eight-week, 2 hour class on stress reduction, eating and exercise as well as complete several different baseline and postpartum psychosocial and biomedical study measures. Women will be compensated up to $475 for completing all parts of the study.

    Overweight or gaining too much Weight?
    In the first half of your pregnancy? (less than 20 weeks)?

    Note: You may be eligible to participate in a research study about stress reduction and health living for pregnant women.

    Come to a FREE 8-week class with other pregnant women to learn:

    • Quick methods to reduce stress


    • New ways to eat and enjoy healthy food


    • Easy ways to stay active

    We will ask you to complete study-related surveys and physical assessments before and after taking the class. You will be PAID $$ for your time.
