CPMC Budget Justification
Salaries of personnel are based on standard institutional rates for the position classification and the individual’s background and experience. A 4% merit increase is applied to salary figures annually, where appropriate. Merit increases and salary rates reflect the high cost of living in San Francisco. No cost of living increases are in this category.
Fringe benefits are calculated at 45% for all employees for all years.
NIH Capped Salaries
The NIH cap of $191,300 has been imposed on all salaries in the first year, where applicable. We request addition award as cap increases.
A 3% cost of living adjustment has been applied to all non-personnel expenses.
