    New Research Funding for California Pacific Investigators

    The Research Institute is proud to announce two grants of special significance from the National Institutes of Health, both awarded during 2003:

    • A Consortium to Study the Genetics of Longevity Total award is $17,735,500 for five years, by the National Institute of Aging. Principal Investigators are Steven Cummings, MD, and Warren Browner, MD.

    • Methamphetamine Pharmacotherapy Development Center Total award is $5,840,183 for four years, by the National Institute of Drug Abuse. Principal Investigators are John Mendelson, MD, and Gantt Galloway, PharmD.
