Warren Browner, MD
Warren S. Browner, MD, MPH is Chief Executive Officer, California Pacific Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Browner is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine, and Epidemiology & Biostatistics, at the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco and his MPH in Epidemiology from the University of California, Berkeley.
Dr. Browner is engaged in research focusing on human longevity and frailty, identifying genetic markers for longevity as well as slowing the aging process. Dr. Browner has also been interested in the association between osteoporosis and other diseases, including atherosclerosis and breast cancer. His current research studies include "Risk Factors for Hip and Colles' Fractures," a multicenter prospective study of the predictors of osteoporotic fractures; and "A Consortium to Investigate Human Longevity and Frailty," a consortium of longitudinal studies to identify genetic markers for longevity.
