CPMCRI Launches New Online Journal for Latest Research News and Features
May 21, 2014
This week, CPMCRI launched its new website, “Currents: The online journal of CPMC Research Institute”.
The site contains in-depth information about our investigators, their publications, clinical trials, and the latest news about research at CPMC.
During development of the site, investigators were encouraged to submit microscopy images from their lab and/or key figures from their publications, allowing for visual representation of CPMC’s discovery research and clinical scientists’ areas of expertise.
The website will be updated regularly with CPMCRI news and events, publications, program initiatives, a Featured Scientist section, and a comprehensive list of all new and ongoing CPMC clinical trials.
Visit the new site at www.cpmcri-currents.org to learn more about:
CPMC’s clinical research into common, chronic illnesses that impact millions of Americans;
Over 350 ongoing clinical studies that promote health and treat disease;
Sutter Health’s integrated research enterprise serving 3 million patients annually at 27 community hospitals;
Discovery research that inspires and enables medical advances;
Our training programs to prepare the next generation of investigators.
The institute’s main Sutter Health website, www.cpmcri.org, will continue to be our central online resource for consumers and patients; while the new website offers more extensive information and CPMCRI research news for the medical and scientific community.
