Congratulations new graduates! You’ve already accomplished a great deal. Now it’s time to take the next step – your first job as a professional nurse. California Pacific offers specialty training opportunities to new graduates as well as experienced nurses.

Nursing at California Pacific has a long and rich history. In 1880, the first nursing school west of the Rockies opened at the California Campus and shortly after nursing schools opened at the Pacific, Davies and St. Luke's Campuses. Together, these four hospitals with their nurses led the way for setting the standard for nursing care in the early 1900’s. California Pacific’s nurses continue to lead the way in setting the standard for what is important in nursing care.

We’re proud of our tradition of nursing excellence and are committed to developing and retaining the best nurses in the Bay Area. Whether you are brand new to nursing or returning to the profession, you will find the support and resources you need to accomplish your goals at California Pacific Medical Center.
