This is the original "Copper Kettle" designed initially by Lucien E. Morris in 1948. Although originally intended as a circuit to obtain precise control over the concentration of chloroform, it served equally well in the vaporization of other liquid anesthetics such as diethyl ether and halothane. On loan to the Center by Dr. Morris
