Health and Healing

California Pacific has an extensive program in integrative health. In 1998, we established the Institute for Health and Healing. The Institute is housed in a building adjacent to the Pacific Campus. Components of the program include:

A Health and Healing Clinic which includes M.D.'s and psychologists with expertise in herbal therapy, Tai Chi, massage, acupuncture, etc. The clinic includes an herbal pharmacy.

A research institute which studies the efficacy of a variety of "alternative approaches" to health care. The research focus is broad and includes studies which have been approved by our Human Studies Committee on prayer, medicinals, etc. The focus is to attempt to prove or disprove a variety of non-traditional approaches to health care.

The Health and Healing group offers elective opportunities to California Pacific residents. In addition, Health and Healing physicians are available to consult on patients.
