Orthopaedic Surgery

Lin Ho, M.D., Chairman and Site Director

The Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program is affiliated with UCSF. As such, California Pacific is a site of training for UCSF's Orthopaedic Surgery residents. At least one resident is assigned to California Pacific at all times. Residents serve a three to four month rotation.

Orthopaedic Surgery residents observe the high-quality private practice of orthopaedics at California Pacific and learn surgical techniques and problem-solving skills through hands-on experience and observation. Residents participate in the evaluation and management of all patients on the orthopaedic service and in the operating room, and gain experience in Ambulatory Orthopaedics in the outpatient clinics and in the emergency room. The majority of patient problems are in the areas of general orthopaedics; pediatric orthopaedics; sports medicine; foot, hand and spine surgery; and reconstructive orthopaedics.
