Kevin Denny, M.D., board certified in ophthalmology, graduated with honors from Harvard before he received his M.D. degree from New York University. Dr. Denny completed his residency in ophthalmology at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, where he has been the Chief of Cataract and Anterior Segment Surgery for the past 9 years. He has run a successful private practice since 1985. A leader in the premium intraocular lens implant arena, Dr. Denny maintains a busy surgical practice for conditions such as cataract and glaucoma, as well as for refractive error, presbyopia, and astigmatism. His commitment to personalized patient care is reflected throughout all aspects of the practice. Combining the best of all eye care fields; ophthalmology, optometry and optical, Dr. Denny believes in building a foundation of trust by treating patients as unique individuals. Dr. Denny’s entire team is dedicated to providing patients with excellent customized care and service.
Dr. Denny shares his surgical experience and skills with the less fortunate through surgical missions to the Hospital de la Familia in Guatemala. He is particularly pleased that his mother, who is a nurse, and his two sons have been able to participate on these trips. He most recently authored a chapter in a must-have book and reference for all cataract and refractive surgeons titled Mastering Refractive IOLs: The Art and Science. The chapter, "Transitioning From Cataract to Refractive IOL Surgery" reflects his expertise in this area.
