Faculty Spotlight

Deborah Lindes, M.D., Associate Director, Adult Medicine


Dr. Lindes is a graduate of Stanford University and of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She completed her residency in internal medicine at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 1999. After practicing and teaching at the UCSF Women's Health primary care clinic for four years, and completing UCSF's Teaching Scholars Program, Dr. Lindes joined the Family Health Center at CPMC as an Associate Director in 2004. She maintains her own primary care practice as well as working closely with the internal medicine house staff during their continuity clinics and outpatient rotations. Her particular interests include women's health, preventive care, and resident education. She co-facilitates the physician-patient seminar for ambulatory residents and also coordinates women's health noon conferences and a women's health elective.
