The Internal Medicine residency at California Pacific features a high level of patient care responsibility in an academically oriented private hospital environment. Program graduates are well equipped either for careers in primary care or further training in subspecialty medicine.

A total of 28 first-year positions are offered, 14 in the one-year Preliminary Program and 14 in the three-year Categorical Program. We usually have 26-29 second and third year residents and four Chief Medical Residents (R4s).
