The Internal Medicine residency at California Pacific features a high level of patient care responsibility in an academic, University-affiliated hospital environment. Program graduates are well equipped for careers in primary care, hospital-based practice or further training in subspecialty medicine.

A total of 28 first-year positions are offered, 14 in the one-year Preliminary Program and 14 in the three-year Categorical Program. We usually have 28 second and third year residents and 3 Chief Medical Residents (R4s).
