    Gastroenterology Fellowship

    How to Apply

    Applicants should have completed an accredited internship and two additional years of internal medicine residency training by the time of enrollment in the fellowship program. Applicants should have taken and passed the USMLE parts 1 and 2. The applicant must be in good standing in the medical community and must be able to obtain a California license to practice Medicine.

    Applications must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) Opens new window. All positions are filled through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP), without exception.

    All applications are reviewed carefully and thoughtfully. All aspects of the application packet are given equal weight. In your personal statement, please provide us with details of your career goals and how you envision your fellowship unfolding to help you reach your desired endpoint. Please also share what motivates you as a physician and person.

    Interviews are by invitation only. Following the review of your application, you will be notified by mail as to whether you have been selected for an interview. Interviews are conducted on site during the months of September and October.
