California Pacific Medical Center is a unique family! Its tradition is rooted in education; our precursor - founded in 1858 - was the first teaching hospital west of the Mississippi. We have evolved through many changes in the delivery of health care. Our teachers are uniquely successful with their own practices. Our residency directors are committed to education above all else. Our hospital administrators are thoroughly grounded in the value of education. Our graduates pass their boards and receive multiple job offers.
