CME Mission Statement
The Continuing Medical Education Program at California Pacific Medical Center supports the overall mission of the Medical Center by providing and evaluating CME activities that achieve measurable educational results of the highest value to the practice of medicine.
Our CME activities are primarily directed toward the broad spectrum of CPMC staff physicians. Resident physicians, medical students, and allied health professionals at CPMC are also encouraged to participate in CME activities. Individual programs may address regional/statewide and/or national audiences as resources and interest permit.
Specific educational activities include clinical rounds programs, one-time CME activities such as conferences and seminars, and an audio-conferencing series for community hospitals and other Sutter Health institutions. New educational activities will be developed utilizing new information-sharing and conferencing technologies. California Pacific Medical Center's CME Program will maintain a measurable evaluation system and a working interaction with the CPMC departments that sponsor CME programs, the quality assurance department, and other education programs at California Pacific.
California Pacific Medical Center recognizes the importance of Continuing Medical Education to its overall mission and is committed to providing ongoing support to maintain and enhance CME programming.
