Continuing Medical Education

California Pacific Medical Center has an exceptionally diverse continuing medical education program. This complexity may be attributed to the size of the overall medical center, the general excellence and clinical orientation of its multiple departments, its participation in a variety of tertiary care activities, and particularly its involvement in post graduate medical education in a number of specialties.

California Pacific Medical Center is fully accredited by the California Medical Association to provide Continuing Medical Education activities for physicians. Physicians attending most Grand Rounds courses may report up to one hour of Category I credit towards the California Medical Association Certificate in Continuing Medical Education and the American Medical Association's Physician's Recognition Award. Some courses offer more than one hour of Category 1 credit.

Grand Rounds lectures and case-based conferences are open to California Pacific Medical Center medical staff only. Others may attend by invitation only.
